This ongoing project of strengthening, restoring and refurbishing motorway bridges along the motorway in Cheshire and Staffordshire is carried out during the day and night.

Our roll on this project was to position ourselves in the central reservation, allowing site vehicles to pass safely around us. This project was very sensitive as the motorway was live at the time of the pours.

Our machine was positioned accurately, in order to service the structure from one side, allowing the site team to easily push the end hose in to the desired areas.

Fitted to the end of our booms were concrete shut-off valves, this guaranteed the stop of flow of concrete, no mess and no overfilling of the structure.

We used the Schwing 24X as it is very versatile, allowing greater access to the structures by being able to open-up under the bridge canopies with a fold-out height of just 5m.
