We were involved in pumping in a fibrous concrete for an acoustic floor slab in a retail unit at The Cube in Birmingham. The client had decided on the fibrous mix for the extra strength the mix can achieve.
We used the Schwing 24X mobile concrete pump and 110 linear meter pipeline. We used the Schwing 24X due to its small footprint and versatility.
We were given this project as the job was in a sensitive retail area of Birmingham, with bar and restaurant windows very close to the work site and the pour needed to go in smoothly and, critically, with no mess.
