Foam Concrete

With a particularly low density, foam concrete is designed specifically to fill voids, provide stabilisation, and be used in other lightweight applications.

Foamed concrete is an easily workable, low density material that incorporates up to 80% air. Generally self-levelling, it is also self-compacting and can be easily pumped. The risk of ‘plastic shrinkage’ is much lower than with standard concrete.

Perfect for filling voids, such as disused fuel tanks, sewer systems, sinkholes, pipelines and culverts, Foam concrete is especially useful where access is difficult.

Foam concrete has numerous benefits, including:

  • Highly fluid and self-levelling
  • Easily pumped
  • Lightweight
  • Freeze/thaw resistant
  • Good insulating properties
  • Load spreading
  • Negligible risk of subsidence
